Aussie Trip, 21 Oct.
Three weeks ago. Dinner at Crystal Jade before taking off to Melbourne thank to Uncle Franklin. The food was delicious, also much thanks to Capt. Hary for sending us to the Airport. Said goodbye to the only 3 people who sent us off. and headed to board, Changi Airport Terminal 3 is beautiful. The flight was 7.5 hours or less, managed to catch 3 movies and an episode of Simpsons. Those three movies we "The Taking Of Pelham 123" and two more i remember not. The flight was smooth, didn't get any sleep through the night though. (Also i learnt that one could order liqour as a drink!)
When we got down to Melbourne, uncle Freddy AKA Uncle Geck Hor welcomed us. Friendship goes back. Spent time enjoying the weather and the scenery after we had tea by having a walk in the park. Really beautiful place. Stayed around for lunch after and then got sent over to Rosebud which is located on the Mornington peninsula to meet Alan and Joyce Watson, our host for the first week, one of the nicest people you could ever meet.
Spent time chit chatting. Was still somewhat jet lagged and couldn't keep track of the time propely. First day was spent adjusting to the time and weather. We got to stay in the flat Uncle Alan and his son built. Nice cozy place.
update more tomorrow.
